My Film Life

 I started working in the NZ film industry when I was 19 years old and a Hairdresser in Queenstown, New Zealand. From NZ and overseas television commercials to major feature films I travelled throughout the country with local and international crews.

Employed on set as a Hair & Make-up Artist and Wardrobe styling, I have been involved in music videos, television commercials, short films, documentaries and feature films,

I feel extremely humbled to have worked with some amazing people from Elton John and Billy Joel to the writer Alex Hayley and Denis E. Waitley to Actors- Michael J Fox, Orlando Bloom, Miranda Kerr, Brooke Shields, to fabulous Producers and Directors, Sir Peter Jackson and Ridley Scott, to name a few!

It's an edgy exciting industry full of eclectic personalities and work! It has always been my passion for a very longtime. From working in the most amazing locations it's an industry that’s works at a fast pace, the perfect light, the most scenic of locations, fighting often weather conditions, time and at times extreme exhaustion, it is "MY" perfect fit! On set is like a roving glamorous gypsy lifesytle, living out of trailers and hauling wig and make-up bags, to food trucks, make up trucks, gaffer and grip trucks, cameras, lights and more...it is one rolling fast paced industry, leaving you waiting with anticipation for your next exciting location and job!

My heart still belongs to where I started this exciting career in Queenstown, New Zealand, where I met over 30 years ago, Dave Comer(RIP) the most famous Location Scout (Lord of the Rings), and also the Production Company of Barbara Williams(Shoot NZ)...it was these two that gave me the start in this wonderful industry that I love so much!

It is this film industry that has taken me to the height of my career, to become one of the most skilled Make-up Artist and Hairdresser within New Zealand.
